Financial Assistance Impact
In 2017, Operation Second Chance provided nearly $890,000 in specific emergency assistance, internships, and morale related activities such as caregiver events, outdoor sporting events, retreats, dinners, family nights, children's events and more.
In 2017, OSC provided assistance or morale to 3,315 veterans, service member, and their families. This includes those who received financial assistance, participated in one of our morale events or attended a retreat.

How has OSC Provided Assistance and Morale?
Families were saved from being homeless by providing rental and mortgage assistance.
Families had power, water, and heat by providing assistance with utility bills.
Families were provided with grocery gift cards to help put food on their tables.
Retreats were held in 9 different states including MT, CO, TX, FL, and MD.
In total more than 60 retreats were held across the country.
110 veterans, service members, and their families were able to attend the circus.
and well over 200 additional concerts and sporting events throughout the year.

By providing emergency flights and lodging, Operation Second Chance gives families the opportunity to come together and heal.
